The gym is very spacious and has a very good variety of equipment. For a business that is in such a central area and open 24/7, it is also quite clean. The staff is friendly and supportive. The location is in a mall which includes a Giant, a movie theater and a bunch of eateries and clothes' shops. Practically unlimited amount of free parking. Shell gas station next door, access to the Beltway within 5 minutes. Very cheap for what it provides. Only downside is that there will often be equipment malfunctions.

The equipment at Planet Fitness in Greenbelt, MD is clean and maintained. This is a direct result of the hard working staff. Nicco especially at the Planet Fitness in Greenbelt, MD has a tremendous work ethic. I have been coming for some time now and he demonstrates above and beyond customer service. Nicco is always moving and taking care of the facility. Please let him know his efforts are appreciated.
As of today, I have yet to receive my refund of $39.
Water is freezing cold to take shower after workout. This is super bad. Gym is good. I always love Planet fitness. They are great places for a good workout.
I joined this gym on 7/13 and canceled on 8/16 under the $10 No Commitment deal. I canceled for the summer to move back to school. However, on September 1, I was charged the $39 Annual Rate Guarantee Fee. According to my contract, I should not have been charged this amount as long as I canceled before the 25th of August. It turns out, they still had me registered in their system as if I was still a member! Despite the fact that I received written verification via email that I had canceled on 8/16, I was still being charged and they sent me another email to show that I was canceled AGAIN. I was promised on September 7 that I would receive my refund in one business week. I waited until September 19, when I called them back, and another representative said they hadn't sent out refunds until then, and I should receive my refund in ANOTHER business week. Okay, fine. I waited until September 27, and yet another representative told me I had to wait YET ANOTHER business week to receive my refund, even after I explained to her the gravity of my situation. She told me that the refund was sent out on September 10, which means that the guy I called on the 19th was lying. I pressed her to provide me with any tracking information on the status of my refund, or to see if they had my correct bank account information, but only her manager has access. In previous phone calls, I was denied access to speak to the manager.
